Carrying FIV, Titi is immunologically vulnerable. He recently contracted gingivostomatitis: the inside of his mouth is inflamed and painful, causing him to drool excessively. Eating dry food aggravates the pain in his gums. We therefore have a treatment to administer to alleviate his discomfort.
Canned food could allow Titi to eat without pain, despite his sensitive gums. It would be an excellent source of protein, vitamins and minerals, enabling him to replenish his energy daily.
This type of food could also enable him to take his medication more easily, aiding his recovery.
Our organisation is up against significant financial challenges, as we've recently incurred substantial veterinary costs to care for sick felines.
